Are CBD Tinctures Overrated?

Are CBD Tinctures Overrated_-2

Search “CBD” and you’ll see a lot of brands selling tinctures—but are CBD tinctures overrated?

CBD tincture oils were among the first products to create a buzz in the industry.

Of course, some people already knew about the capabilities of CBD oil, but when hemp attained legalization—thanks to The Farm Bill of 2018—this miraculous oil reached a whole new level.

However, more attention brings about more questions. And when those questions are left unanswered (or answered incorrectly) people don’t have the full scope of benefits CBD offers.

The thing about CBD is you have to do your research to retain a product that works best for you. Some people randomly purchase a product, try it once or twice, and write CBD tinctures off as “overrated” because it didn’t fit their immediate expectations.

Situations like these lead some to wonder “are CBD tinctures overrated?”

However, there’s a logical answer to why CBD isn’t hitting the mark in most cases. Let’s examine some of the common misconceptions about CBD tincture oils.

“I Don’t Feel the Effects”

When you purchase a CBD oil, you’re excited to see what it’s capable of. Unfortunately, this is where some people experience disappointment because they’ve missed a critical step somewhere in the process.

You have to make sure you purchased from a reputable company making high-quality products and contain the advertised amount of CBD for starters. You’d be surprised how many CBD tincture oils on the market contain little to no CBD.

We’d all like to believe all companies are created equal with the same moral compass. But some companies lie about the amount of CBD in the products. Furthermore, if you happen to run across one of these products, you’re not going to feel anything—because it’s simply not there.

Examining Quality

To avoid ineffective products that make you question if CBD tinctures are overrated, make sure the company conducts third-party labs on its products. When you look at the lab results, look specifically at the CBD content to make sure it’s consistent with the label. It’s also helpful to take stock of what the general public says regarding a specific product or brand.

Aside from issues with the brand itself, some people don’t feel their tincture because they aren’t taking it correctly. You should place the tincture under the tongue and let it sit for 60 seconds.

By doing this, you’re enabling the capillaries under the tongue to absorb the tincture, giving you more enhanced effects since it has more time to make its way into the bloodstream.

Something else people don’t know is CBD is a fat-soluble compound. This is another reason many don’t feel their CBD—they’re not including some fat with their CBD serving

Some tinctures contain MCT oil, but if your tincture doesn’t already contain fat, try eating a meal that contains healthy fats. This increases the bioavailability of the product.

“It’s Not Portable”

The steady growth of the CBD industry brings more convenience to the consumer. There are several products geared towards making life easier if you’re always on the go.

Sure, tinctures take a little more tinkering and testing. But, once you figure out your serving size, you’ve overcome the most challenging tinctures. There’s a reason they’re still one of the most popular products on the market, the main one being such a high rate of bioavailability.

Gummies are the number one competitor of tinctures. Sure, these tasty bites are more convenient in some ways, but gummies have a much lower bioavailability rate because they lose some of their potency when they travel through your digestive tract.

The 25-35% bioavailability rate of tinctures compared to the 15% rate of gummies keeps people coming back for tinctures.

“My Tincture Taste Horrible”

It’s hard to make any change in your life if you don’t enjoy it, and in this case, we’re talking about the taste.

It seems like everything “good for you” has to taste bad.

We get it.

We’ve endured our fair share of tinctures that were hard to swallow—literally.

Since we’ve been down this road before, we made sure our CBD+CBG 2:1 Wellness Tinctures leaves an all-natural, sweetened finish for you to savor.

Oh, and we made sure to blend it with MCT oil for enhanced absorption too!

“It Makes Me Tired”

When we talk about CBD, most people want the relaxing effects they’ve heard about. Still, some people want to take advantage of CBD during the day without fighting fatigue.

Interestingly, some people take CBD and experience those calming effects, but it can have the opposite energizing effects for others. We all respond differently to CBD or anything quite frankly due to our unique genetic compositions.

If this sounds like a concern you’ve voiced, you can use a couple of solutions to remedy the problem.

First, try adjusting your serving size, but if this doesn’t work, a product combined with CBD+CBG—as we referenced earlier—produces energizing effects. CBG is similar to CBD, with the main difference being the energy it’s able to produce.

The final product is a balanced tincture that’s great for daytime use, keeping you alert, focused, and balanced.

“It’s Costly to Maintain”

Many people argue CBD works wonders within their lives, but they can’t afford it. Given the current climate in this country, it’s understandable. However, there are ways to manage costs.

Since CBD is geared towards health and wellness, many companies have created ways for people to get their CBD with split payment options like Sezzle and other company discount programs.

This all varies based on the company itself. When you’re looking through the site, you should be able to notice verbiage around payment flexibility at the very bottom of the homepage or directly on the product page.

If CBD works for you at the end of the day and it produces a greater quality of life, don’t deprive yourself. It may be tempting to try out the free trial offer of CBD you saw, or the other product that costs next to nothing. Still, these stories all have a similar ending—ineffective products and scams.

You deserve the best tincture experience and will only get it with a reputable company making high-quality products

Things to Remember When Taking Tincture Oils

Many things may seem “overrated,” but you have to try them for yourself and form your own opinion.

Now you’re a little more aware of some of the things that contribute to the success of CBD tinctures.
