When it comes to consuming hemp seed oil, the most common dose is two tablespoons daily. Taking anymore than this is strongly discouraged because hemp seed oil may become toxic in larger doses.

On the other hand, consuming CBD oil gives you a bit more freedom in deciding your dosage. Researchers have not been able to find significant side effects to consuming large amounts of CBD oil–except for maybe getting a little sleepy. It’s important to note that the clinical research on this topic is still in its infancy and more long term studies are needed in order to completely rule out any side effects of consuming CBD oil.

So far, it seems that CBD oil is superior to hemp seed oil when it comes to most areas, including safety and availability. However, hemp seed oil should not be completely ruled out as a possible addition to your daily regimen, either. It really just depends on the experience you’re looking for.
