Summer is finally here. You know we’re ready to bask in the summer sun, surrounded by friends and family, while sipping on some delicious fruity cocktails by the pool. Whether you’ve got the travel bug or you’re simply taking a staycation, we’ve got the best CBD infused vegan recipes for you. So get ready for some yummy barbeque with grilled patties, fresh veggies and refreshing sides to satisfy your cravings!
Of course, no summer BBQ dish is quite complete without the sauce… and that’s why we’ve found just the condiments that your tasty 4th of July barbeque was missing! Created by Los Angeles chef Brianna Gallo, our Smoked Gouda Cheese Sauce and Barbecue Ranch Dressing are some of the most delicious we’ve ever tried. Plus, these family-friendly recipes are quick, easy, vegan, gluten-free, and come packed with CBD! CBD Infused Barbecue Ranch Dressing
Serving Size: 1/3 cup (Makes 8-10 servings) CBD: 50mg total / 15mg per serving
Vegan / Gluten Free
- 1 1⁄2 cups vegan mayonnaise
- 1 1⁄2 cups vegan plain unsweetened almond milk yogurt (we used kite hill)
- 1 1⁄2 cups regular unsweetened almond milk
- A loose 1⁄4 cup each of fresh parsley, dill, and chives
- Salt / Black pepper to taste
- 1⁄2 cup vegan barbecue sauce
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1-2 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 3-5 tbsp distilled white vinegar (to taste)
- 3 droppers full of MCT Hemp Tincture 500
Finely chop your fresh parsley, dill, and chives.
Next, add all of the ingredients besides the almond milk, vinegar, and CBD oil to a bowl &
Whisk well until everything is incorporated.
Slowly add in your almond milk, vinegar, and cbd oil. For the almond milk / vinegar,
start with less at first and add more until your desired thickness / thinness & tangy-ness
Store in a mason jar in the fridge for up to a week.
You can adjust the amount of CBD to you’re liking, making it less strong, or even stronger if you prefer. The back of the package has all dosage instructions so follow those accordingly.
This was served on top of a bed of romaine lettuce, red cabbage, & shredded carrots that were topped with fresh cilantro, scallions, crispy jalapeños, & fresh avocado. You can create any salad you’d like for this, or use it as a sandwich spread, dip for veggies, etc.
CBD Infused Smoked Gouda Sauce
Serving Size: 1⁄4 cup (Makes 8-10 servings) CBD: 66mg / 16.5mg per serving
Vegan / Gluten Free
- 2 cups raw unsalted cashews
- 1 package Field Roast Chao Cheese (creamy original flavor)
- 2 tsp – 1 tbsp liquid smoke
- 3 tbsp smooth Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt / black pepper to taste
- 2-4 cups regular unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 4 droppers worth of MCT Hemp Tincture 500
Add all of your ingredients to a high-powered blender (chopping up the chao cheese into rough cubes first), and blend until smooth.
Start with less almond milk than necessary and keep adding more until everything is blended well together without any grittiness. You want this to be the consistency of a loose pancake batter.
Once blended, add to a pot over low heat, and stir frequently (uncovered) for about 5- 10 minutes. You can add more almond milk or seasonings as needed.
You can adjust the amount of CBD to your liking, making it less strong, or even stronger if you prefer. The back of the package has all dosage instructions so follow those accordingly.
Adjust the liquid smoke to your liking. It is a strong flavor; some people like it very mild & some like it stronger. Start out with less and add as you go.
This was served on a burger consisting of a beyond meat patty, whole wheat bun (toasted), red leaf lettuce, dill pickle slices, tomato slices, and the cheese sauce. You can alternatively use this as a fondue and serve it with different breads / crackers / chips / veggies to dip, can use this as a mac & cheese sauce, etc.
You can use any vegan cheese of your choosing as long as it’s a “white” cheese.
