Every Great CBD Oil Should Do This in 2020_

Looking for the perfect CBD oil?

Unfortunately, this can be a difficult search with so many options out there. Not too long ago, you couldn’t find CBD oil for sale online or in stores.

However, with the passing of the 2018 Farm Bill and some positive stories from the CBD community, CBD oil has never been more widely available.

So, how to determine which one of these brands has the best CBD oil?

Sure, there are some basic qualifications that every CBD oil should meet. It should be free of pesticides and heavy metals and tested regularly—just to be sure. This means third-party testing that’s made readily available to customers.

Next comes quality, and from our experience, every…

Great CBD Oil Must Be Natural

A quality CBD oil begins with the plant, and this has everything to do with where, and with how, it’s grown. We can’t stress the importance of this one enough.

When you’re first looking into a prospective match, make sure to find out where the company sources its plants. This should bring up two important bits of information: if it’s grown in the U.S. and if it’s grown organically.

For example, we procure our hemp from Kentucky, and our hemp is 100% organic and non-GMO.

So, why’s that important?

To start, it means it wasn’t grown using any pesticides or fertilizers. And less foreign chemicals in the body is always a good thing. The fact that the plant isn’t genetically modified means that the range of cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes is all-natural.

This becomes especially important when you factor in how the oil is extracted. After all, these lovely compounds have to be separated from the pulp and the leaves.

One of the keys to acquiring a great CBD oil has to do with the quality of its ingredients after they’ve been separated from the plant stock.

When it comes to extracting CBD from their plant, CO2 extraction is the leading method. While the shape of the carbon dioxide molecule isn’t as conveniently shaped as butane, it can as both gas and liquid at the right temperature.

Because this requires a high amount of pressure, it requires expensive equipment to be done effectively. However, what you get on the other end is pure CBD oil—and we believe that’s worth the price.

Great CBD Oil Must Be Rich

This means rich in cannabinoids, terpenes, and other flavonoids.

Concentrated CBD isolate is certainly powerful, but great oils encompass the full spectrum of hemp ingredients. As a result, we’re big fans of full-spectrum oils. When all the hemp plant’s compounds work together, it’s easier to achieve the much-desired entourage effect.

Though hemp contains very little THC, it remains an incredibly important ingredient to achieve this aforementioned entourage effect. Along with other cannabinoids including CBN, CBG, and beneficial aromatic terpenes, the full CBD experience can be an incredible thing.

For clarity, terpenes are the fragrant molecules that give plants, flowers, and trees their wide range of scents, from earthy and floral to citrusy.

In the same way aromatherapy works, inhaling the scent of certain terpenes in nature has been associated with boosting our emotional well-being. The sweet, floral scent of the terpene linalool, for instance, found in lavender, has a calming, sedative effect.

Limonene, a terpene found in citrus fruits and peppermint, has a mood-elevating effect, while pinene, found in sage and conifers has been shown to aid in alertness and memory retention.

In fact, a 2017 study published in the Journal of Toxicological Research showed that the Japanese practice of forest bathing, or Shinrin-Yoku, in a terpene-rich environment has potential anti-inflammatory, anti-tumorigenic, and neuroprotective effects on human health.

So, next time you’re shopping around for a CBD oil, make sure it includes terpenes.

Great CBD Oil Must Be Versatile in Strength

For example, CBDfx offers three concentrations of our simplest oil: 500mg, 1000mg, and 1500mg.

This blend consists of only two ingredients—a rich and natural full-spectrum CBD oil and MCT oil. The latter acts as a carrier oil, allowing your body to more efficiently absorb all those cannabinoids and terpenes.

We’ve also recently come out with a Wellness Tincture that offers a 2:1 ratio of CBD to CBG. It also comes packed with a proprietary terpenes blend, curcumin, and Coenzyme-Q10. With each vial, you have a choice between four concentrations: 500mg, 1000mg, 2000mg, and 4000mg. And for every 10mg of high-potency CBD, there’s 5mg of CBG along with it.

A good CBD oil can be at the root of any great CBD product. If you’re more into the idea of gummies or topical treatments, make sure the underlying oil is composed of quality hemp as well.

Great CBD Oil Must Be Consistent

Great CBD oil is CBD oil you can trust to remain great.

That means no dips in quality, no issues with efficacy, and definitely no problems of customer service. A good way to gather intel on a prospective brand is to check out their reviews. A 5-star rating from one customer will mean a lot less than a 4.8 rating from four hundred.

At the end of the day, a great CBD oil has everything to do with the people making it. We’ve been around since 2014 and continue to build our brand around the finest tinctures and oils money can buy.

Did you know?

The strength of the CBD needed (500mg, 1000mg, and 1500mg) will depend on the dog.
