Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring substance in industrial hemp/cannabis. It is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis, and is being scientifically studied for various reasons.

‘CBD oil’ is a cannabis oil (whether derived from marijuana or industrial hemp, as the word cannabis is the Latin genus name for both) that has significant amounts of cannabidiol (CBD) contained within it.

CBDfx products are derived from industrial hemp, so they could be considered CBD-rich hemp oil, hemp derived CBD oil, or CBD-rich cannabis oil. Again, cannabis doesn’t mean marijuana, but is the genus name, and general umbrella term which all forms of marijuana and hemp fall under. The form of cannabis we use for our CBD is industrial hemp; we do not sell marijuana.

Our CBD products contain over 80 different phyto-cannabinoids, most notably cannabidiol (CBD), CBC, CBG, CBN. In addition to the cannabinoids present in industrial hemp oil extracts, there are also many other types of natural molecules and phyto-chemical compounds such as amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins (including B1, B2, B6, D, & E), fatty acids (including omega 3 & 6), trace minerals (including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, & potassium), carotene, chlorophyll, and flavonoids

Because CBD is a natural compound how it works with each person varies. But long story short; CBD bonds with the Endocannabinoid receptors found in almost every human cell and helps them do their specific job more efficiently.

The major difference is how industrial hemp has been bred compared to a marijuana form of Cannabis sativa. Industrial hemp is very fibrous, with long strong stalks, and barely has any flowering buds, and often grows 12-15ft tall, while a marijuana strain of Cannabis sativa will be smaller, bushier, full of flowering buds, and typically grows on 5-6ft tall. Marijuana has a high amount of THC and only a very low amount of CBD. Hemp, on the other hand, naturally has a very high amount of CBD, and only micro trace amounts of THC. Fortunately, the cannabinoid profile of hemp is ideal for people looking for benefits from cannabis without the “high”.

Hemp is used for making medicinal remedies, food, fiber, rope, paper, bricks, oil, natural plastic, and so much more. Whereas marijuana is usually used just recreationally, spiritually, and medicinally. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MALE OR FEMALE VERSION OF THE HEMP PLANT.

*Note Hemp derived, CBD oil is sometimes referred to by people as cannabis oil, as the term cannabis can technically describe hemp or marijuana, and in our case cannabis oil is obviously being used to describe our hemp oils.

The short answer is yes. CBD is CBD, whether from marijuana or hemp. Most marijuana has a very low cannabidiol profile, so most of the time hemp would be much more preferable regarding CBD potency because it naturally has such a high amount of it.

However, certain strains of marijuana that are being grown with a very high CBD content, but this is presently still very rare. And the few growers that do have high CBD marijuana strains are struggling to provide for all the people in need. So, industrial hemp is not just an ideal alternative to marijuana, but is most of the time the preferable choice.

Yes, they are similar, but there are slight differences in growth and production. Just like Charlotte’s Web, the cannabis strains we use to produce our CBDfx oils are considered industrial hemp. However, our hemp farms and strains are EU-certified, whereas Charlotte’s Web is not. We use multiple industrial hemp strains for our products; Charlotte’s Web is just one of about 50 different strains of industrial hemp. As with all natural products (think grapes and wine), with Hemp and CBD oil there are natural variances. Although extremely similar, there will be other, maybe less important variances between like color, smell etc.

CBD products can be categorized as either monocannabinoid (pure, isolated, research-grade compounds) or polycannabinoid (full-spectrum, raw, natural). Monocannabinoid are often used to increase the amount of total pure CBD in a product. When taken through vape, orally as tinctures, capsules, or infused food items, these monocannabinoid products are rarely effective and require 10 times as much CBD for the same potency as a CBD polycannabinoid variant. Higher does of CBD (over 200mg) often causes stomach pain and headaches due to the lack of other important cannabinoids and nutrients required to help with absorption in the body.

Pharmaceutical and clinical research has shown full-spectrum, polycannabinoid products leverage the existing natural chemical balance in the plant for optimum absorption and effectiveness.

Higher gradients of polycannabinoid is also available but typically blended with natural oils like coconut and vegetable oil for the specific purpose of ingestion through tincture drops or food items, however these are not vapable.

Many CBD brands often overstate their overall CBD content as well.

CBDfx uses only the highest quality ingredients and pharmaceutical standards for production. CBDfx uses a specially formulated VG/PG mixture for optimal blending with majority of eliquids available on the market. CBD Drip uses PEG 400 which does not blend as well and separates quickly.

CBDfx is the only CBD brand production solely in a an FDA registered pharmaceutical lab facility, formulated by compound pharmacists and bioengineers.

CBDfx has renowned pharmacists on their board of advisors to insure only the best most effective products are developed and produced.

CBDfx keeps product safety as it’s #1 concern and our bottles use Certified Child Resistant(CRC) caps, which many states and countries require for all vape products. CBD Drip does not.

The cost of materials, formulation, testing, production, and oversight in a pharmaceutical facility and to that quality level is often costlier. We stand behind our products and to ensure that we only use the best possible methods of production.

We sell nation-wide and worldwide, so we must abide by the federal and not just state law. Regarding hemp cultivation, the state and federal laws here in the United States are presently contradicting, and to avoid stepping into a grey area of the law, we are only sourcing our hemp from countries that we know for certain it is legal to do so from. This way we are following both state and federal law and are able to provide CBD to people all around the world.

We are actively working with local, state, and federal regulators around the country on legal means to provide USA grown hemp CBD products.

Our base CBD extracts have varying percentages of CBD 24-36% . We use multiple hemp cultivars, grown outdoors in several countries and under different climate conditions, so there is naturally a variance in the final biochemical composition of the oil extracts. This however has no effect on how much pure cannabidiol (CBD) goes into each bottle of CBDfx. Our CBDfx Vape Additive has approximately 180 – 360mg of CBD extract per 1 fluid ounce or 60-120mg per 10ml bottle.
