How to Vape CBD Without Becoming The Vape Guy

Today, if you want to vape CBD there are rules you need to know.

Nonetheless, it’s gained acceptance and popularity because it’s discrete and convenient. You can take CBD vape pens with you almost anywhere and take a puff or two without anyone ever knowing.

Like we said, convenient and discreet.

With newfound convenience comes a price because if you take it everywhere and use it all the time. You can easily become “the vape guy.”

In most cases, this is harmless, but what if your vape practices are borderline rude and “vape guy” is something people call you because your vaping annoys them. We know it’s never the intention, but it doesn’t hurt to brush up on a vape etiquette

Let’s go over some ways you can be a courteous vaper and keep those around you happy.

Workplace Vaping Etiquette

Office environments deliver all types of stress, depending on what line of work you’re in. At any rate, we understand how tempting it is to pull out your vape pen to take the edge off while sitting at your desk.

But this isn’t always a good idea.

For starters, you may not work in a vape-friendly office environment. If you take a puff of your vape pen at your desk, you might have bigger issues on your hands later.

Secondly, it’s not polite to those around you, and while you’re in the workplace—a shared space—it’s a good idea to keep others in mind. Give yourself a vape break. Go outside and get some fresh air while you indulge your high-quality CBD vape pen(s)

Additionally, you can gain all kinds of benefits from taking a little walk during the workday. It boosts creativity, concentration, and productivity, all while reducing stress, monotony, and burnout.

Even if you don’t have time for a long walk, the simple notion of standing up and moving around a bit still helps. Plus, you’ll be a gracious co-worker who considers others.

Dinner Table Etiquette

If you’re sitting solo at your table at home, this doesn’t apply because you can do what you want in the comfort of your own home.

But, if you’re out with friends or entertaining company, it’s best to step away from the table when you want to vape. If you’re in a restaurant, it’s helpful to understand most establishments have no smoking and no vaping rules.

This might be flexible if you’re patio dining, which is what most states are left with while we navigate through COVID-19, so make sure you check before you start blowing smoke in or around a restaurant.

Other Vaping Techniques to Explore

Speaking of “blowing smoke,” you’ll want to explore the option of stealth vaping. This technique minimizes the smoke that escapes from your mouth when vaping.

The first thing you’ll need to do is take a long pull and exhale out of your nose, which drastically reduces the amount of smoke.

If you’re somewhere vaping is frowned upon, but you need to take a pull, you can use the shirt trick. It’s simple and effective. All you need to do is take a pull and blow the smoke down your shirt, and just like that, the smoke is gone.

Alternatively, there’s the napkin technique, but it takes a little more effort and skill to pull off. Pretty self-explanatory, simple exhale into the napkin to conceal the smoke.

Overall Practices to Employ While Vaping

The main idea to keep in mind is being conscious of those around us. Some people aren’t as informed about vaping and the vapors it produces, so they feel the second-hand smoke threatens their health.

Here are some general Do’s and Don’t of surrounding the idea of vaping etiquette.

Do ask for permission to vape if you’re in a public place (bar, friend’s house, etc.).

Do research the laws about vaping in your particular city and state.

Do educate non-vape believers when possible.

Don’t vape in crowded spaces.

Don’t vape near children or pets.

Don’t change or refill your e-juice in public. The smell might be too much bystander, and you risk spilling.

Never blow smoke in someone’s face.

These are some general tips to keep your vaping practices respectful and comfortable for yourself and those around you.

However, you can also think of it like this. If you have to think about if it’s “okay,” it’s probably not the best idea. Staying up to date with your state’s regulations is a great starting point.

Keep Yourself Safe with High-Quality Vape Products

Vaping is popular, and what comes with any popular product—knockoff products.

In this case, we’re referring to those less than favorable companies that use low-quality ingredients to make their products.

The main culprit to watch out for is vitamin E acetate. This synthetic form of vitamin E is not safe for inhalation, and there have been many hospitalizations linked to this substance being in vape pens.

These are often those no-name vape pens you pick up somewhere or even from an unknown source on the web. Make sure you check to see if your pen has it by referencing the third-party lab results.

This is a telltale sign of any reputable company crafting quality vape pens. You already know what else we’re going to say—if you don’t see lab reports, it’s a no-go by default.

Wrapping Up

No one wants to be known as “the vape guy.”

You can make sure you avoid adopting this label by adhering to some general guidelines of vape etiquette. Overall, it’s all about keeping other people in mind.

Some people feel very uncomfortable around any type of smoke, so it’s always good practice to ask before you puff. This goes without saying around the little ones, schools, and churches.

Also, on the note of stealth vaping, make sure it’s acceptable. Sometimes being sneaky about vaping isn’t the best option or respectful to others. However, if you’re practicing the technique out of pure preference in an accepting environment, that’s a different story.

Now you know how NOT to be “the vape guy,” and you can vape and enjoy your CBDfx vape with comfort, confidence, and ease.
