I tried the product about 30 minutes before I went to bed. It had a pleasant citrus-like taste that made holding it under my tongue for one minute relatively easy. I swallowed the remaining amount of product after one minute and proceeded to brush my teeth and get ready for bed. Within about 20 minutes, I felt overall more relaxed and felt my eyes getting heavier. I could still be awake if I wanted to, but I had no desire to do so. I fell asleep rather quickly and woke up the next morning refreshed without feeling groggy. It is difficult to say whether the CBN itself made the difference, as most CBD products that I have previously tried have helped me fall asleep sooner, but the relaxation effect was definitely noticeable. I wonder if that is the result of this being a full spectrum product vs. a broad spectrum, i.e. slightly higher amount of THC.

As mentioned, in addition to 1000mg of CBD, this product also contains cannabinol, or CBN. CBN has been studied for many different effects, but the jury is still out. CBN is commonly used to help users relax and fall asleep faster. There are some conflicting studies in this area, but I will tell you that based on my experience, this product seemed to make me more relaxed, which was very welcome before turning in for the night.

Overall, this product worked well for me and, even though I do not typically have trouble sleeping, I could feel the effects and welcomed the quicker onset of sleep. I would recommend this product to anyone who has ever experienced difficulty falling asleep or perhaps may be dealing with some worries. I would recommend using a smaller dose if you choose to use it during the day and a larger dose for sleep.
