Why Use CBD for Dogs?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a healthy, natural way to improve your dog’s overall wellness. Like humans, dogs have an internal endocannabinoid system. This system is hardwired into receptors in several key systems and organs throughout the body, helping them to maintain homeostasis (balance). This helps your dog’s body to regulate such important functions as sleep, mood, memory, pain, stress, and more. When you give your dog CBD, it acts much like their body’s own endocannabinoids, helping to bolster that system, thus producing a wide variety of wellness benefits.**
And don’t worry, CBD won’t get your dog “high.” Unlike its sister cannabinoid, THC, cannabidiol is non-psychoactive, meaning it has no intoxicating effects. Our CBD pet products are all made with broad spectrum CBD, which contains no detectable THC.
CBD Dog Health Benefits
As with human CBD products, CBD for dogs can produce a number of benefits. We’ve already mentioned that CBD’s interaction with the endocannabinoid system helps to produce a number of benefits for your dog’s overall wellness.** In addition, CBD produces a calming effect that can help settle your dog’s nerves, especially when combined with other soothing, natural ingredients, such as chamomile and passion flower.** CBD also helps to soothe minor aches and pains in the muscles and joints, making it a perfect base ingredient for pain and mobility products.**

How Much CBD Should I Give My Dog?
The serving size of a CBD product for dogs depends on the strength of the product and the size of the dog.
Our CBD Oil for Dogs comes in four different strengths, each formulated for different sized breeds. A serving size is one dropper, though we advise first-timers to start with a low dosage and work your way up until you find the effective serving size for your dog.
For the CBD Dog Treats, the number of treats in a daily serving is determined by the size of the dog: ranging from ½ treat daily for small dogs to 3 treats daily for extra large dogs. For dogs receiving more than one CBD treat daily, it is recommended that you administer a portion in the morning and another in the evening.
*Recommended serving sizes are based on general results. Individual factors, including weight, metabolism, and tolerance, may affect your dog’s experience.
